Environment and LNG

LNG is safe for the environment

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a safe, environmentally friendly fuel. Once LNG is converted to natural gas, it produces relatively low emissions when burned to heat homes and generate electricity.

LNG is odorless, nontoxic and noncorrosive. When exposed to the environment, LNG rapidly evaporates, leaving no residue on water or soil.
